Hope in Your Heart : Mixed Media

Here we are and it's Monday again.

We have only dipped our toes into the creative spring
of the new year
and there's already so much inspiration
to be found.
In our hearts and all around.

What inspires you?

Some of my most inspired moments come through...

Writings
Music
Movies
Nature
People
Art

I love that moment when I read something or
hear a song and for whatever reason
it finds it's way to the depths of my heart.
 I am somehow forever changed
and awed by the beauty of the moment.

Does that ever happen to you?
**************

Today, I'd like to share with you
a mixed media piece that I made.
It doesn't have a name but
HOPE in your Heart
is the theme.
This is one of my all-time
favorite words. I think the reason needs
no clarification.

Sometimes I just like to grab some things from my
scrap drawer and from leftovers laying
on my desk and try to fit them altogether to
create something.

C*R*E*A*T*E*

Have you been creating?
I try to work on something every day.
It feeds my soul!

The desire to create is one of
the deepest yearnings of the human soul.
Dieter  F. Uchtdorf
________________

May your basket of HOPE be full
to overflowing..
in spite of your circumstances.

With God all things are possible..
Matthew 19:26

So, there's always reason to hope.
And I have always thought that hope is what
sets us to action.
If we don't have the HOPES
that things could be different or better
somehow, we wouldn't take that next step.

Now, I'm going out to take a walk.
I promised Miss Liberty and she's waiting!

Thank you for coming by.

Blessings and hugs,
Tamara

It is so beautiful! I find it very hard to combine media so I am deeply in awe of your natural ability to do this and be brave and experiment!! I'm always worried it will go wrong and I'll waste resources!!!x

HOPE - what a precious word! I am so thankful for the HOPE that is found in the Lord Jesus.

Your mixed media artwork is beautiful, my friend, and it embraces the word HOPE in a lovely way.

Have a wonderful week, Tamara. Love and hugs!

Such a beautiful mixed media piece!! I totally love all the different elements you have combined, the colours and different texture, the elements of nature such as the feather, they all work so well together! A truly gorgeous and creative piece!!
Oh and I just saw in the post below, you are part of Jeanne Oliver's network too, - I joined a while back and have joined one of her journaling classes. A wonderful place to be indeed!

Oh my word friend this is beautiful! (Oh and yes, I do sometimes feel things very deeply and it changes me; moves me, really.)
Tamara this collage is truly wonderful. All the textures creates so much beauty and interest. Love it! (was wondering what the piece is under the 'hope' heart- almost looks like a sea shell?)
Thank you for sharing. You mentioned movies as one thing that can stir your inspiration? I will sometimes put a movie in that does that for me; like a period piece (Pride & Prejudice...) when working on something vintage!
Bless you, Karen O
